We believe in sustainability, ethically sourced products and transparency.
In March 2024, one of the last family of Majdalawi weavers in the Gaza region were displaced to Egypt. This family is now trying to continue weaving Majdalawi fabrics in Cairo and a Palestinian business called Nol Collective is currently fundraising to support their efforts.
25% of each product sold will go directly to their GoFundMe.
Due to the ongoing genocide, it is impossible to source Majdalawi fabric from Gaza. Fabric shops in the West Bank have variations of this fabric but it is handmade in Syria. The fabric used in this collection are from Syria but sewn by an internal refugee in occupied Palestine. The tailor who meticulously sewed these beautiful pieces’ name is Tamam and she was paid a fair wage for her work.
This collection helps support textile merchants in Palestine and Syria, refugees from Gaza now in Cairo, and women in Palestine like Tamam.
Please note that since these are limited edition, once they sell out - they're gone!
